The botryoidal bubble formation displays a series of graduated colors from brown, orange and red, to purple and blue hues. The agate formation is still attached to the host rhyolite matrix. This wonderful natural gemstone rough specimen was mined at Deer Creek Arizona, which is known for producing high quality fire agates with bright and vivid colors.

SLM016 - Massive 5.6 Pounds | SLM016 - 7-1/2 x 6-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches | SLM016 - Fiery Chalcedony Agate | Massive 5.6 Pounds Fire Agate Rough Mineral Specimen Slaughter Mountain Arizona SLM016 - This impressive piece of Arizona Fire Agate rough measures 7-1/2 x 6-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches (19 x 16.5 x 8.9 cm) and weighs in at a hefty 5.6 pounds (89.6 oz, 2.54 kg). There are several areas of visible fire on the exterior and then multiple limonite areas indicating potential internal fire layers. This massive fire agate rough gemstone specimen, with limonite fire banding, chalcedony formations with geometric designs, a natural quartz and rhyolite flat base, and an area of rose colored druzy quartz crystals, makes for a wonderful addition to any mineral or gemstone collection. Pieces of fire agate of this size are very rare due to the difficulty of extracting them from the bedrock, most get broken into smaller pieces during the mining extraction process. This spectacular specimen originates from Slaughter Mountain, Arizona, known for producing fire agates gemstones with intense color variations from bright reds and oranges to intense greens, purples and blues.

SLM029 - Cabinet Sized Specimen | SLM029 - Fiery Limonite Layer | SLM029 - Chalcedony and Quartz | Slaughter Mountain Arizona Fire Agate Gemstone Rough Mineral Specimen SLM029 - This wonderful cabinet sized specimen of Fire Agate gemstone rough measures 5-1/4 x 3 x 3 inches (13.5 x 7.6 x 7.6 cm) and weighs 1.34 pounds (21.5 ounces). There are internal fire agate gems visible under the chalcedony flower with multiple limonite layers also present. This lovely specimen has a chalcedony flower formation on top, areas of translucent chalcedony with intricate geometric designs, rose colored quartz crystals, clear quartz crystals, and unique opalized coated quartz crystals present.

This spectacular gemstone carving makes for a wonderful addition to any gemstone or mineral collection.

| This wonderful Arizona gemstone mineral specimen originates from Deer Creek, Arizona. The specimen is out of a private collection in Safford, Arizona. The colorful fire agate gemstone on the surface of the basalt host rock has been nicely polished and displays multiple bright fire colors. | This agate displays earthy brown and green colors. It is a flat bottomed stone is a darker agate that requires good lighting conditions for fire display.
